The Adventures of Two Okie Girls began as a New Year's Resolution. We wanted to take one day a month go somewhere or do something. Once we set our minds to actually keeping this New Year's Resolution we enlisted the help of Google to find things to do within 3 hours of Tulsa, OK that we haven't done within the last 5 years. The ideas started flowing, we decided we wanted to go to Arcadia and see the Round Barn, find all the Penguins on Parade throughout Tulsa, go to Bricktown, Mine Salt Crystals, Go to the Kolache Festival in Pregue, go to Joplin to see 1 year after the May 20, 2011 tornadoes, Hike Gloss Mountain, go floating down the Illinois River, and O SO MUCH MORE!!!!
