Party is privately owned and is currently located in a backyard. His owners are previous Zoo Donors. Party is one of the original 5 penguins and was on display at the Penguin Ball when his owners saw him and decided to purchase him. The owners are trying to get in contact with the original artist to have him repainted and sealed. If unable to have the original artist repaint Party, the owners are willing to seek another penguin's artist if they keep party as much original as possible.

ReplyDeleteHow were you able to get in touch with Party's owners? I'm going to be in Tulsa in April to continue my own penguin hunting adventures, but I've never seen any of the private penguins. Are they friends of yours or something?
ReplyDeleteThey owners actually live down the street from my grandparents. My dad saw him through their back fence while driving and when we told him of our "Penguin Hunt" he told me which house to look for and we went and knocked on the door. They were super nice. This blog is actually a precursor to a scrapbook that we are doing on our adventures and when we are all done (for the year) we are going to revisit them and show them all of our adventures

If you could email me a hint to Party's neighborhood, that would be fantastic. I don't want you to give away their address either. That'd be creepy and uncomfortable, and I swear I'm super friendly.
